Salem 10

This is the first of some of my favorite pictures: The Salem Monster Museum.One of the coolest parts was that there was no interior lighting. You needed to carry a lantern to see. One of the side effects of this was that the pictures I took came out… like this. I honestly think they look great. When I describe the DSi Camera's low light performance as a blessing and a curse, this is the blessing. A lot of these monsters look way scarier and more realistic in these photos than they do in real life. Not long after taking these, I uploaded these to Tumblr with alt text saying what each monster was. There were some I didn’t remember back then, and I don't remember most of them now, so I’ll have to trust my past self. I have this one listed as just “a vampire”. Most of the following pictures will probably just have the name of the monster as the description and not much (if anything) else.
